ok I read the explanation.. but i still think you missed on the most obvious charchteristic of mother that she is such a classical lady and she loves that style in everything she does ..
and i still think of this as just a drawing and not at all a drawing of mother.. :| sorry

the site’s getting more alive :) ! the sketch of ur mom needs more work , just give extra care for the eyes they;r the ones giving the “comic” like look, decrease their size too..
